LAPIERRE SCHOOL/CHRISTMAS SHOW
Courtney Peix, one of the ballet teachers at LaPierre is holding her Christmas show “A Christmas Toy Story” in Reading and Bridgewater this year. Her company Contrapose Dance, and many LaPierre students performed this original show for the first time last year in Cambridge, MA with much success. She decided to tour the show to the north and south shore this year.
This is a very family friendly performance featuring her 7 professional dancers and 30 students-most of them from LaPierre! The show is 1 hour long and tickets are $8.00 children and $12.00 adults (general admission)

Synopsis:
The charming fable takes place in Santa's workshop after the elves break for dinner. Several broken toys find themselves ridiculed and shunned by their well-made counterparts. Luckily, a wind fairy arrives to blow away the attacking well-made toys, leaving the broken toys in the workshop. At first happy to be alone, the broken toys --- a toy soldier who has a short leg, a teddy bear who remains unstuffed, a ballerina whose pointe shoes are too big, Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy who are sewn together and a Jack-in-the-Box who cannot open - soon realize that Santa no longer has enough toys to bring to waiting children. Rather than despair, the broken toys band together and use their combined resourcefulness to fix each other, surprising the wind fairy, the elves and even themselves. Christmas is saved!

Adams Master Class Fall Session will end Thursday November 19th. Master Classes will resume on Monday, January 4th, 2010. Master Class tuition will be included in your Spring Tuition Invoice. (Please note Spring Master Class Tuition is different from the fall as there are 4 extra weeks added to the schedule).

This years Spring Concert: "Steppin Out...A Night At The Theater "will be held at the Collins Center April 9th & 10th, 2010. Show Information & Ticket Information will be posted as it becomes available.
Spring Concert Registrations have been sent home: please check to make sure your child is listed in the correct levels and classes. If you see any problems please attach a note and call the studio to speak with me.

We had a great day with Devyn Collins on September 28th. She is a fabulous instructor... I am hoping to get her back during the winter months. The kids had a blast!
