NOVICE 2 THROUGH ADVANCED IMPORTANT INFORMATION!

FALL STREET FAIRE..We have been invited to participate in the Fall Street Faire again this year. The Faire is held on Sunday, September 12th in Reading Center. It was a wonderful experience last year for all of our students who performed.
This year we would like to involve more classes Novice 2 - Advanced. Please note the levels reflect last years spring concert - costumes should still fit!
We will be rehearsing the kids during Intensive week the only extra rehearsal that we will hold will be on Saturday September 11th beginning at 12:00pm. This will be a dress rehearsal,full costume and hair.
It is my hope that all of the students in these numbers will participate. I feel this is a great opportunity for our kids to show the town the amazing talent we have at LaPierre School...they have alot to be proud of!
Listed below are the numbers we will perform at the Fall Street Faire. If your child cannot participate please let me know by Monday July 26th, otherwise we will asssume they will be dancing and we will not adjust any choreography.
NOVICE 1 - "CANDYMAN" (Ballet)
NOVICE 2 - "WALL STREET" (Tap)
NOVICE 3 - "5,6,7,8" (Jazz)
JUNIOR 2 - "GO TO HOLLYWOOD" (Tap)
JUNIOR 3 - "SHINING STAR" (Jazz)
INT 1 - "I WISH" (Tap)
INT 1/JR3 - "WHO CARES/I GOT RHYTHM" (Ballet)
INT 2 - "EVACUATE" (Jazz)
ADV - "PYT" (Tap)
ADV HH - (Tom will take names, if there is enough interest, he will teach the choreography before school starts).
JR2/JR3/INT1/INT2/ADV - OPENING NUMBER (We are hoping to do opening number, we will run it on Monday to see if it will work without "the seniors".
Again, please let me know by Monday July 26th, if your child will not be particpating.

IMPORTANT FALL UPDATES

Hi Everyone!
Just want to let you know this will be the last post on this blog.
Starting Monday, July 26th we will be using our new Website. Everything you need to know will be posted on our site. Please check the site on a regular basis as we will be posting regularly. Check our homepage, newspage and calender.
Our new website address is www.lapierredanceschool.com. We are still contructing the site but it is totally up and running! Please watch for a "mailing" that should be arriving in the next few days. Included in the mailing will be: your fall invoice, master class letter, Novice 2 through Advanced(please include your master class payment with your tuition if your child is participating), and a magnet(with our website info).Fall classes begin on Saturday, September 11th

We are in the process of desiging a new website for our school. We are going to have a slide show on the website and we would like any photos you might want to share from this year or years past of your children. You can send them to me by email ASAP so we can get the website up and working as soon as possible.

Registration for Summer and Fall ends on Saturday, May 8th (9:00-12:00). Please remember class placement is on a first come first serve basis.

ADAM'S MASTER CLASSES

I have spoken to Adam and he has agreed to continue his Master Classes until the end of the year.

CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE!!

The show was fabulous as always...We are so lucky to have an amazing staff and a school filled with beautiful, talented dancers! We are already thinking about next years show!!! Believe it or not this is when we start!
Just a reminder attendance must be kept up during these last few weeks. Classes end on Friday May 21st. If you are playing a sport or have a "conflict" please stop by to see me for an alternate schedule. We can work it out!

Demonstration Information will be sent home with your children this week - Demonstration will be held on Thursday, May 20th from 6:00-7:00pm at the Parker Middle School. Please read the notice that is sent home as all the information about tutus, tickets, arrival times etc. are there! Looking forward to an exciting night!

Novice 1 through Advanced students please keep all of your costumes from the Spring Concert handy...I am hoping we will be asked to do the "Fall Street Faire" again this year. I would like everyone to participate - it was a great experience last year...I'm looking forward to it again this fall!
